The case concerned the participation of the University of Cyprus in the tender of the Cyprus Telecommunications Authority (CYTA) in relation to the provision of measurement services for electromagnetic fields in mobile base stations for 2012. There are two mobile companies in Cyprus which own the mobile base stations, namely, CYTA and MTN as well as a number of companies
