The UK, German and Australian Competition Authorities release joint statement on merger control enforcement

The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission ("ACCC"), German Federal Cartel Office and UK Competition Markets Authority have released a joint statement on merger control enforcement. The statement highlights the agencies' united view on the importance of rigorous merger control enforcement in a world dealing with the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic and in fast-developing tech and digital markets.
