The EU Commission proposes significant changes to the EU merger regulation

On June 20, 2013, the European Commission (Commission) launched a public consultation on a number of significant proposed changes to the EU Merger Regulation (EUMR). The consultation period closes on Sept. 20, 2013. The full text of the consultation papers can be found here [1].
