The Lithuanian Competition Authority clears a merger between two companies in the agricultural and food manufacturing sector (Linas Agro Group / Kauno grudai)

Linas Agro Group will be able to acquire 100 per cent of the shares of companies “TABA Holding” and “Kormoprom invest”, 85,9073 per cent of the shares of company “Kauno grūdai”, 87,6078 per cent of the shares of company “Vilniaus paukštynas”, 91,5467 per cent of the shares of company “Kaišiadorių paukštynas” and 79,2463 per cent of the shares of company “Zelvė” and acquiring sole control of these companies. Corresponding decision No. 1S-70 has been made by the Lithuanian Competition Council (also Konkurencijos taryba, authority) on 5th July 2021 [1].
