The Moldovan Competition Authority closes an investigation into alleged price fixing on the market for home appliances because of economic justifications (Rolling International)

On 14 July 2017 the Competition Council of the Republic of Moldova (CC) [1] closed the investigation into the alleged price fixing on the market for household electric appliances due to the presence of economic justifications. [2] In the early 2015 the media discussed an unusual price spike on the market for household appliances when all major retailers have simultaneously increased their prices during a short time span of two days:
