The English High Court has awarded the claimant in an abuse of dominance case an injunction to prevent a service being discontinued - once the claim had been amended over the weekend after an unfinished hearing. In brief Working through the weekend proved worthwhile for Packet Media Limited (PML), the claimant in an abuse of dominance claim seeking an injunction against Telefonica (O2) to prevent services to it being discontinued. The first day of what was planned to be a one day hearing ended on a Friday afternoon with the judge on track to dismiss the application because there was no arguable case of market abuse. When the hearing was continued, the claimant proposed - successfully - to amend the market definition and that on that basis, the claim merited an injunction being
