The European Court of First Instance dismisses action against Commission’s re-adopted decision relating to the steel alloy surcharge cartel (ThyssenKrupp Stainless)

On 1 July 2009, the Court of First Instance (CFI) dismissed in its entirety an action by ThyssenKrupp Stainless AG (formerly Krupp Nirosta GmbH) against the European Commission’s re-adopted decision in the alloy surcharge antitrust proceeding. ThyssenKrupp had appealed against the re-adoption by the Commission in December 2006 of its decision relating to the steel alloy
