The operation Unilever is a company incorporated in Holland which is active in Turkey through its various subsidiaries including Unikom. Unikom is engaged in the production of corn oil, sunflower oil and olive oil. On the other hand, SEEF is an affiliate of Soros Investment Capital and it had not carried out any activities in Turkey prior to the transaction. Within the scope of the transaction, the sole control of Unikom was transferred to SEEF from Unilever. Accordingly, the corn oil, sunflower oil and olive oil businesses as well as the brands of Unikom for its corn oil and sunflower oil businesses (Yudum, Sýrma, Özüm-Yudum) were to be transferred to SEEF.
