Mergers: Commission approves BASF's acquisition of Solvay's nylon business, subject to conditions* The European Commission has approved, under the EU Merger Regulation, the proposed acquisition of Solvay's nylon business by BASF. The approval is conditional on the divestiture of a remedy package.
