The operation Ivax and 3M both manufacture and supply pharmaceutical products including products for the treatment of asthma. Ivax has acquired 3M's distribution business for certain asthma treatments operating in the UK, IRE, D, F, NL, N, S, SF and DK. The transaction was notified to to the OFT on 31 July 2003. Subsequent to the OFT's decision on reference given on 20 October 2003 Ivax submitted its previously proposed undertakings to the OFT on 9 January meeting
