The Provincial Court of Pontevedra, Spain (Provincial Court) reduced the amount of damages received by an individual for the acquisition of a truck from one of the companies sanctioned by the European Commission's decision in case AT.39824 -Trucks (EC Decision) when that cartel was in place (Provincial Court Judgment). The Provincial Court Judgment is a result of a civil appeal lodged by Man Truck & Bus SE ("Man" or "Appellant") against the judgment issued by the Commercial Court of Pontevedra dated 19 October 2019 (the "Judgment of first instance"), which awarded damages amounting to €6,382.75 to an individual (the "Plaintiff").
