In October 2019, the Competition Commission of India (CCI) had expressed for the first time its prima facie view regarding “across platform parity agreements” (APPAs) / most favoured nation (MFN) clauses while considering a complaint filed by the Federation of Hotel & Restaurant Associations of India (an all India hotel and restaurant association) against MakeMyTrip India Private Limited (MMT) and Ibibo Group Private Limited (First MMT case).
