Preceding the completion of its 2009 Annual Report, which last year was finalized only in September [1], the Croatian Competition Authority [2] (AZTN) on 25 February 2010 adopted its 2010-2011 Annual Plan aimed at informing the public about the competition authority's goals and priorities for the upcoming period. The year of 2010 carries special importance for the competition law development in Croatia as from 1 October 2010 the new Law on Protection of Competition enters into force and introduces substantial modifications into the enforcement framework [3].
