The Turkish Competition Authority cleared an acquisition in the food products market subject to brands divestiture and appointed a trustee (MGS-Gýdasa)

The operation At the time of the notification, Gýdasa was a company which was under the sole control of Sabancý. The products that were being marketed by Gýdasa included, without limitation, beverages, various tea products, packaged water, juices and various meat products. Sabancý Group is one of the biggest groups in Turkey and is active in various sectors including but not limited to, automobile, energy, banking and finance and etc. On the other hand, MGS is a company incorporated in 2007 primarily for the purpose of producing, procuring and marketing agricultural and animal products together
