The Spanish Competition Authority fines explosives’ supplier for excessive pricing (Canarias de Explosivos)

On 12 February 2008, the Spanish Competition Authority fined a supplier of explosives for excessive pricing in the Canary Islands in breach of the Spanish equivalent to Article 82 EC. The Spanish Competition Authority concluded that Canarias de Explosivos S.A. held a dominant position on the relevant market. First, it noted that Canarias de Explosivos S.A.
