By a decision on appeal rendered on 3 February, 2006, the President of the Czech Office for the Protection of Competition has annulled a first instance decision according to which ŠKODA AUTO a.s. (“Škoda”), a Czech car manufacturer belonging to the Volkswagen group, had allegedly abused of its dominant position on the Czech market of new motor vehicles by applying discriminatory conditions to certain of its large-scale customers.
