The French Competition Authority issues two maps regarding the establishment of court bailiffs and judicial auctioneers

Freedom of establishment for court bailiffs and judicial auctioneers* The process of progressively opening up the two professions, which are scheduled to merge into the new profession of commissioner of justice in 2022, is producing encouraging results and should continue. Pursuant to the “Macron Law”, the Autorité is making new recommendations to encourage the gradual establishment of new professionals. Out of the 99 establishment areas across the country, the Autorité has identified 32 free-establishment areas for bailiffs and 3 free-establishment areas for judicial auctioneers.
