The Moldovan Competition Authority fines a company for abuse of dominant position by imposing unjustified tariffs for used water reception service (Apă-Canal Chișinău)

On 1 February 2018 the Competition Council of the Republic of Moldova (CC) [1] found that the municipal undertaking Apă-Canal Chișinău SA [2] has abused its dominant position on the local market for water and sewage services by imposing unjustified tariffs for used water reception service and by disconnecting the business customer from the sewage network in order to ensure the timely collection of payments.
