The French Parliament adopts legislative initiative on the development of competition for the benefit of consumers

On 20 December 2007, the French Parliament adopted a new law on the development of competition for the benefit of consumers, which was promulgated on 3 January 2008 (see Law No. 2008-3 of 3 January 2008 on the development of competition for the benefit of consumers, French Official Journal, 4 January 2008, 258).
