"Merger Control: Main developments between 1st September 2002 and 31st December 2002"* On 13 December 2002 the Commission decided to refer certain aspects of Leroy Merlinā€˜s acquisition of Brico DIY stores to the competition authorities in France, Spain and Portugal. The Commission found that the deal did not raise competition concerns in the rest of the European Union and therefore cleared the transaction
