The EU Commission prepares a report on the evaluation of the block exemption regulation relating to motor vehicle distribution

"Monitoring of Regulation (EC) n° 1475/95 concerning the distribution of motor vehicles"* The block exemption Regulation relating to motor vehicle distribution [1] entered into force on July 1, 1995 [2] and will expire on September 30, 2002. It allows selective and exclusive distribution and servicing agreements in the car sector, provided that they enhance efficient distribution of the products concerned and can be regarded as indispensable for attaining rationalization and efficiency in the motor vehicle industry.
