The Italian Competition Authority unconditionally approves the creation of a cooperative banking group (Cassa Centrale Bancaria)

The transaction reviewed in Cassa Centrale Bancaria was put in place by 95 cooperative banks, several of which operated in the North-East of Italy in the province of Trento. The entity resulting from the notified merger was expected to have high shares in many post-merger banking and financial markets in the province of Trento.
