Sarah Legner

Sarah Legner is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Konstanz, with a research focus on competition law and contract law. She has degrees from the Eberhard Karls-University Tübingen (First State Examination 2014; Doctorate 2019) as well as the full German qualification to practice law (Second State Examination 2016). Before her academic career she was a judge at a District Court in the south of Germany until 2019. She had a visiting position at the Free University of Berlin (Visiting Lecturer 2020/21). Sarah Legner publishes regularly in the field of competition law and in related areas. She is author of, inter alia, Schadenstheorien bei Nachfragemacht im europäischen und deutschen Kartellrecht (“theories of harm in the context of buyer power in European and German antitrust law”), Mohr Siebeck, 2019.
