Professor of Economics

Saïd SOUAM is professor of Economics at the University Paris Nanterre. He is the Deputy-Director of EconomiX a joint Research Unit between University Paris Nanterre and CNRS. He is also affiliate researcher at CREST-ENSAE. He graduated in economics and statistics from Ecole Nationale de la Statistique et de l’Administration Economique (ENSAE). He prepared his Ph.D in Panthéon-Sorbonne University and CREST on economic foundations of competition policy. He is specialized in industrial economics, applied game theory, competition policy, corporate governance and recently in development economics. He teaches competition economics and game theory in the Master Economics and law at the University Paris Nanterre. He is also responsible of the double Bachelor’s degree in Law and Economics at the University Paris Nanterre in which he teaches two courses: Game theory; Political and constitutional economy.
