Before moving to the University of Strathclyde (Glasgow), Dr Oles Andriychuk taught at the University of Stirling. Prior to that, he held a postdoctoral research fellowship at the ESRC Centre for Competition Policy (University of East Anglia). His book "The Normative Foundations of European Competition Law: Assessing the Goals of Antitrust Through the Lens of Legal Philosophy" was published by the EE and received numerous positive reviews. His primary teaching interests include Competition Law and the Digital Economy, Internet and Media Law, Jurisprudence and EU Law. Oles’s main research is focused on the philosophical aspects of European competition law, exploring the phenomena of economic freedom and competition from the perspective of legal, political and moral philosophy, and competition law and the digital economy. He has also published articles in the area of jurisprudence and legal theory, European Law, antitrust law, constitutional law, media law and the theory of adjudication.
