Mathieu specialises in European, Belgian and Dutch competition law. He assists clients before the European Commission and Belgian and Dutch competition authorities in relation to matters regarding cartels, abuse of dominance, merger control and state aid. He also has extensive experience in the coordination of multiple merger control filings. Mathieu has experience in a wide spectrum of economic sectors including construction materials, waste management, chemicals, (online and offline) retail, software, IT services and life sciences. Mathieu was admitted to the Brussels Bar in 2014. He works in Dutch, English and French.
