Massimo Motta is a ICREA Research Professor at University Pompeu Fabra and at Barcelona Graduate School of Economics. He served as Chief Competition Economist at the European Commission’s Directorate General for Competition from September 2013 to August 2016, and he currently advises the South African, Chilean and Portuguese Competition Authorities.
