Marie-Laure Denis was appointed president of the French data protection authority, CNIL on February 1st, 2019. Ms. Denis has previously worked at the French Supreme Administrative Court (Conseil d’Etat) and for several ministers. She then joined the French Audiovisual Authority (Conseil Supérieur de l’Audiovisuel – CSA) and the French Telecommunications Regulator (Autorité de régulation des communications électroniques et des postes – ARCEP).
