Gao Liang is a Partner at Gaopeng & Partners, where his practice focuses on Chinese and EU competition law. He has extensive experience in advising clients on general Chinese antitrust counselling across the whole spectrum of competition law. He also has experience in Chinese and international merger control matters, and has been involved in complex multinational merger filing in broad range of sectors, including pharmaceuticals, chemicals, IT, real estate, textiles, logistics and steel. He obtained a LL.M from Europa-Institut of Saarland University. Before joing Gaopeng & Partners, Gao worked in Hammonds LLP Brussels office and Global Law Office (Beijing). He lectures and writes frequently on Chinese and EU competition law. Gao is a member of Studienvereinigung Kartellrecht.
