Jean-Baptiste is currently Professor at the University Panthéon-Assas (Paris II). He is a member of the Bureau of the French Arbitration Committee and former Co-Secretary General of the International Academy of Arbitration Law (Paris). He is the author of a thesis on International Commercial Arbitration and Public Order (LGDJ 1999) and a textbook on arbitration law published by the Presses universitaires de France (PUF, coll. Thémis, 2016). He is the Scientific Director of "Journal du Droit international (Clunet)". He is also Deputy Director of the "Centre de recherche sur la justice" at the University of Panthéon-Assas and co-director of "Master 2 Contentieux, arbitrage et modes amiables de résolution des différends" at the the latter university. in August 2021, he will give a special course at The Hague Academy of International Law on "Arbitration and Human Rights.
