Jacques Davy has graduated in distribution and competition law at the University of Maine (1991). He began his career as a lawyer within the Carrefour Group (Comptoirs Modernes), as Head of Legal and Real Estate, then he was supermarket manager for 2 years, and finally, he worked as the legal director of a subsidiary abroad (Poland). In 1998, he went to Monoprix (Galeries Lafayette) when it merged with Prisunic (PPR). He became Head of the Business Law Department, then Commercial Legal Director of the Casino Group brand in 2013. Since March 1st, 2018, Jacques has taken over the Legal and Tax Affairs Department of the Federation of Commerce and Distribution (FCD). He is also a member of the Commercial Practices Review Committee.
