Jamie is a partner in the health team, advising clients including NHS organisations, private clinics and start ups in the health and life sciences sectors on commercial and public law matters. Jamie is a corporate commercial lawyer specialising in the health and life sciences sectors. Clients include NHS organisations, private healthcare providers and doctors, charities and social enterprises, healthtech start ups and SMEs. Jamie advises clients on contracting, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, IT projects, outsourcing, GDPR, NHS commissioning and procurement rules and navigating the commercial and regulatory frameworks for start ups. Currently this includes advising on the implications of using artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning in healthcare and delivering the digital ambitions of the NHS long term plan. Jamie has a history degree from Royal Holloway, University of London, and a diploma in law from the College of Law.
