Jacques Merot

Jacques Merot chairs the Polynesian competition authority. He was appointed by an order of the French Polynesian Council of Ministers on July 9, 2015 for a six years non-renewable term. Prior to this function, he was a regional and territorial chambers of accounts magistrate. He spent five years at the territorial chamber of accounts of French Polynesia and has consequently a substantial experience of the institutional environment of this country and a good knowledge of its economic fabric and competition issues.
