Hollie Higgins commenced practice in September 2017 upon completing her 12-month pupillage in Chambers and accepts instructions in all Chambers’ main areas of practice. Between October and December 2017, she was seconded to the General Counsel’s Division of the Financial Conduct Authority. Working within the Markets team, her work focused on the implementation of MiFID II and MiFIR. She gained a detailed understanding of the MiFID II regime and advised on its implications for regulators, trading venues and investment firms. Her work also covered the regulation of cryptocurrencies, market abuse, listings and Brexit. During pupillage, she assisted in cases before a range of courts and tribunals including the High Court, Court of Appeal, Supreme Court, Employment Tribunal and Competition Appeal Tribunal.
