Harikumar is Counsel at Singapore Law Practice, OC Queen Street LLC. He joined OC Queen Street in September 2018, having helmed the Enforcement Division at the Competition and Consumer Commission of Singapore. Over the course of more than 9 years at the CCCS, Harikumar worked on and supervised notable investigations and decisions involving cartel conduct, abuse of market power, and mergers and acquisitions. Harikumar also headed the legal team at the CCCS which worked on the 2018 amendments to the Singapore Competition Act and the subsidiary legislation. The amendments codify the procedure to obtain confidential advice for anticipated mergers, enable businesses under investigations to offer legally binding commitments to address anti-competitive conduct, and enhance the CCCS’s evidence gathering and investigation process.
