Gordon Christian is a Principal Counsel Competition at Siemens Energy since December 2019 but has been working as a Counsel for Siemens for the past 8 years. He is an experienced competition lawyer, and he has experience advising on both EU and UK competition law matters in a diverse range of sectors, particularly in relation to Article 101/Chapter I and Article 102/ Chapter II issues as well as advising on EC, UK and multi-jurisdictional mergers. He also has experience advising in relation to both cartel investigations and market studies by the Office of Fair Trading (as it then was) and advising on market investigations by the Competition Commission (as it then was), as well as on competition compliance programmes and audits. Finally, he has advised on competition litigation matters, both in front of the ordinary courts as well as at the Competition Appeal Tribunal in the UK, as well as in front of the General Court in Luxembourg.
