Esther advises commissioners and public and independent sector providers of health and social care services on commercial and contractual issues. Esther has over 10 years’ experience of advising health and social care clients including CCGs, NHS trusts and foundation trusts, local authorities and health providers on a broad range of complex commercial and contractual issues, including new care models. Esther’s work includes developing accountable care structures, from alliance structures to joint ventures and other forms of collaboration. She has led on the development of complex contractual arrangements for several nationally commissioned services and developed an innovative prime contractor structure to integrate offender health services. Esther works with many NHS commissioners on collaborative commissioning arrangements including section 75 agreements underpinning better care fund arrangements, and has also led on pathology and other service collaborations.
