Ms. Eda Duru graduated from Marmara Faculty of Law in 2005 and was admitted to the Istanbul Bar in 2007. Before joining ELIG Gürkaynak Attorneys-at-Law in 2014, Eda worked as a senior associate in the competition law department of a leading law firm based in Istanbul. Eda became a counsel within the “Regulatory and Compliance” department of ELIG Gürkaynak in 2018. She has extensive experience in competition law compliance matters, merger control, and defenses in investigations conducted by the Turkish Competition Authority. She has represented various multinational and national companies before the Turkish Competition Authority in various sectors. She is fluent in English.
