Wouter Vergote is currently a lecturer in discipline at the Economics Department of Columbia University (New York, USA) and an economics professor at Saint-Louis University Brussels (on leave). Wouter specializes in industrial organization, competition policy, international trade policy and economic theory. He is an academic coordinator of the Brussels School of Competition. In the past Wouter has worked as an economist at the Directorate-General for Competition of the European Commission and as an economics consultant at NERA, in New York.
