Admitted to the Paris Bar and Brussels Bar (E List), Wladimir Soltmann is an associate in the Antitrust & Competition practice in France. Previously, Wladimir was a case handler with the French Competition Authority, as a member of the Merger Unit, before being appointed at the General Court of the European Union (Luxembourg), as a Référendaire. Wladimir has developed an extensive knowledge of proceedings before the French Competition Authority, the European Commission and the European courts. Wladimir gained experience in all aspects of competition law at both National and European levels, with a particular focus on merger filings, as well as on cartels, concerted practices and dominance investigations before competition authorities and European courts. In addition, Wladimir lectures both French and EU Merger Control at Skema Business School. He is the author of “Technical standards and Innovation. Cross analysis of IP rights and competition law” (PhD thesis). He was a speaker in several symposiums in France and abroad.
