Thomas B. Paul is a partner at Hengeler Mueller where he specializes in corporate law and dispute resolution. He has extensive experience in advising and representing clients in cartel damage lawsuits before German and European courts, and currently acts as counsel in a number of pending high stakes cases across a broad range of sectors, from consumer goods to TV ads to chemicals to air cargo. With a formal background both in economics and law, Thomas always has a strong focus on the economic parameters of a case, whether in settlement discussions or in actual litigation. Prior to work at Hengeler Mueller, he was a research fellow at the institute for commercial law of the University of Bonn. He also clerked for the litigation department of the German Federal Cartel Office (Bundeskartellamt).
