Steven Croley is a partner in the Washington, D.C. office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the Litigation & Trial Department and the Environment, Land & Resources Department. Prior to joining Latham, Mr. Croley served as General Counsel for the United States Department of Energy, Deputy White House Counsel for President Obama, and Special Assistant US Attorney in the Eastern District of Michigan, Civil Division, among other positions. Mr. Croley began his career as a law clerk to Judge Stephen F. Williams of the US Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit.
