Sophia Real

Sophia Real works as competition counsel in Google’s EMEA Competition Team and is based in Brussels. Before joining Google, Sophia spent more than 10 years working as a competition lawyer in private practice in London, Rome and Brussels, initially at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and then at Baker McKenzie, where her practice focused on advising clients in relation to abuse of dominance and merger control proceedings. At Google, Sophia advises her clients on all aspects of competition law, with a particular focus on competition law issues in Germany.
