Sarah Bartels has been working in the antitrust division of the U.S. Department of Justice since April 2020. Sarah Bartels previously was an associate in Weil’s Antitrust/Competition group. Her practice focused on mergers, government investigations, civil litigation, and antitrust compliance matters. Sarah Bartels served as Vice Chair of the Programs and Teleseminars Committee for the ABA Antitrust Law Section, following her involvement in the Section’s International Task Force as its Young Lawyer Representative. She also performed and had been recognized for her pro bono work on behalf of the Innocence Project. Ms. Bartels earned her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Michigan Law School and her B.A. from the University of Michigan.
