Rowan Kendall is a senior associate in the competition practice of Ashurst. Rowan specialises in competition and consumer protection law, and also in infrastructure regulation. He has extensive experience advising clients on all aspects of competition regulation, particularly in relation to mergers and acquisitions, investigations, and business structuring. Rowan has particular experience advising major infrastructure owners, operators and users in relation to all elements of third party access issues and the application of relevant regimes. He has advised extensively on this area in relation to assets located in Australia, Europe and Asia. Rowan has previously practised in both the United Kingdom and Myanmar, and has developed expertise providing major multinational clients advice on significant global transactions, particularly in mining and natural resources, transport, financial services and telecommunications sectors.
