Prof.dr. Robby Houben specializes in company and capital markets law, as well as in sports enterprise law. He is chair holder of the Club Brugge Chair at the University of Antwerp, which focuses on the professionalization of professional football. He is also chair holder of the Jean-Pierre Blumberg Chair at the University of Antwerp, dedicated to good governance of companies. Robby Houben regularly acts as advisor for the European Parliament (2018 and 2020: on crypto-assets; 2021: tax treatment of professional football).
