Rachael Stowasser is an associate in the White & Case’s Global Antitrust/Competition practice group based in Sydney. Rachael advises clients on merger control, joint ventures, exclusive dealing, complex regulatory investigations, enforcement matters and misleading and deceptive conduct litigation in the Federal Court of Australia. She has particular expertise in the technology and retail sectors. Rachael has a broad commercial litigation background, with a particular emphasis on competition and consumer law and regulatory investigations. She has considerable experience in acting for medium to large private and public corporations and local government authorities in litigious disputes in the Federal Court of Australia and the Supreme and District Courts of Queensland. Rachael holds an LLM degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science, where she specialised in competition, innovation and trade law, with a particular focus on the technology sector. She previously served as a Judge’s Associate in the District Court of Queensland and holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Queensland.
