Roman Vedernikov is an Associate of Competition/Antitrust Practice at ALRUD Law Firm. Roman advises on a wide range of antimonopoly and related issues. The relevant experience includes merger control clearance of global M&A/JV transactions including with conduction and presenting to the authority economic analysis for complex deals. Roman represents clients during national security clearance of transactions with the FAS and Governmental Commission for Control over Foreign Investments. Roman assists clients during cartel investigations, dawn raids, represents clients before the FAS. Roman has considerable experience and special focus on advising international retailers on different and difficult antimonopoly aspects of enforcement of the Russian trade law. Roman graduated from MGIMO-University, International Trade Law Department and has a master’s degree in law from National Research University - Higher School of Economics, Law Department. Roman is a member of the International Bar Association, the Competition Experts Association and the Eurasian Competition Association.
