Gwenaëlle Poilon joined the MEDEF as Chief Economist in Jan. 2021. Prior to that, she lead the Economic and Competition division at Veltys. She also worked at the French Economic Policy Office at the French Treasury. Since 2013 she has held the position of permanent rapporteur in the Merger unit of the French Competition Authority. Gwenaëlle Poilon holds a PhD in economics from Sciences Po.
