Focusing on European and German competition law, his main areas of practice encompass to advise clients on potential anticompetitive practices (cartels, vertical restraints, and abuse of dominant positions) and merger control issues as well as State aid and procurement law. He practices in German and English. Philipp also speaks French. Prior to joining the firm, Philipp worked as an associate in competition law departments of two major international law firms in Brussels for several years. Prior to his qualification, he completed internships at a German law firm in Brussels, the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy in Berlin and Bonn, and the German-French Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Paris.
